Welcome to StashBot! By using our app to manage your home and food inventory, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Using StashBot

You agree to use StashBot only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not harm others or restrict their use of the app.

2. User Accounts

You need to create an account to use StashBot. Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Your Content

You own the data you enter (like your inventory lists). By using StashBot, you give us permission to store and display this data to you and on your devices.

4. Intellectual Property

We own StashBot and its design, code, and content. You may not copy or misuse any part of it.

StashBot uses content from third parties who retain copyright to their data. This third-party content is used in accordance with the terms and licenses provided by those parties.

5. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.

6. Accuracy of Suggestions

StashBot provides helpful suggestions (for example for the storage of food) but acknowledges that there are many factors that can affect the accuracy of these suggestions including temperature, geographical variations, weather, individual item variations, surrounding items and material, and more which may make our suggestions inaccurate. Users are expected to use their best judgement when using these suggestions. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from relying on these suggestions.

7. Limitation of Liability

We provide StashBot "as is" and do not guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for any loss or damage from using the app.

8. Legal Use & Law Enforcement Requests

You may not use StashBot or related tools to engage in, promote, or facilitate illegal activity.

We don't voluntarily share your information with law enforcement. If we receive a legally valid request, we may disclose information as required by law (for example, in response to a warrant, court order, or subpoena).

9. Waitlist and Beta Testing

By joining the StashBot waitlist, you agree that:

  • StashBot will contact you via the email address you provide when the StashBot application becomes available for general release.
  • StashBot will contact you via the email address you provide if you are selected to participate in beta testing of the application.
  • Selection for beta testing is entirely at StashBot's discretion. StashBot is under no obligation to select any particular user for beta testing, and selection decisions are final.
  • Beta testers may be required to sign additional agreements or terms specific to the beta testing program.

10. Automated Agents

Bots may crawl and index the website but are otherwise not allowed to use the service. This includes but is not limited to: automated scripts, web scrapers, data miners, and other automated tools.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or deem that you have abused the system.

12. Lifetime Licenses

Some users may be eligible for a lifetime license. This is at the sole discretion of StashBot and is not guaranteed. The lifetime license is not transferable and will be revoked if the user is found to be in violation of the terms of service. For purposes of this contract "lifetime" is defined as one hundred (100) years from the date of the user's first purchase of the plan.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes.

14. Contract Validity

If any part of this agreement is to be found unlawful or invalid, that part will be considered severed and the remaining parts will continue in full force and effect.
